Division Overview
Verdant Division serves as the primary exploration, lifeform-observation, and environmental-survey division of the Science, Exploration & Medical Sector.
Its personnel are responsible for entering unfamiliar regions, documenting planetary and ecological conditions, observing indigenous lifeforms, and identifying environmental hazards that may affect future operations.
Verdant teams provide the field observations and survey records necessary to understand newly encountered environments before personnel, resources, or organizational assets are committed to extended operations.
Operational Responsibilities
- Exploration and preliminary surveying of unfamiliar planetary, atmospheric, and deep-space environments.
- Observation and documentation of indigenous, migratory, and previously unidentified lifeforms.
- Environmental sampling, terrain assessment, and ecological condition reporting.
- Identification of biological, geological, atmospheric, and radiation-related hazards.
- Mapping of viable routes, landing zones, resource sites, and locations of scientific interest.
- Coordination with Helix Division when discoveries require scientific analysis, xenological examination, or anomaly investigation.
