Division Overview
Aegis Division serves as the primary search-and-rescue division of the Science, Exploration & Medical Sector.
Its personnel are responsible for locating missing or stranded individuals, responding to distress signals, recovering personnel from damaged vessels, and conducting rescue operations throughout planetary, atmospheric, and deep-space environments.
Aegis Division operates wherever distance, terrain, hostile conditions, or failing systems place lives at risk. Its teams coordinate rapid deployment, emergency extraction, survival support, and the safe transport of rescued personnel to medical or secure facilities.
Operational Responsibilities
- Distress-signal response and emergency deployment.
- Search operations for missing personnel, vessels, and expeditionary teams.
- Recovery from disabled spacecraft, remote terrain, and hazardous environments.
- Emergency extraction and evacuation of injured or endangered personnel.
- Coordination with medical, exploration, logistics, and security personnel during complex rescue operations.
