Helix Division

Helix Division

Scientific Research, Xenological Fieldwork & Anomaly Analysis

“Helix Division serves as the scientific research and anomaly-analysis arm of the Science, Exploration & Medical Sector, charged with the study of unfamiliar life, unexplained phenomena, and discoveries that challenge established understanding.”

Division Overview

Helix Division serves as the primary scientific-research, xenological-fieldwork, and anomaly-analysis division of the Science, Exploration & Medical Sector.

Its personnel are responsible for examining unfamiliar organisms, biological materials, anomalous environments, recovered artifacts, and unexplained phenomena encountered during InterSleuths operations.

Helix teams conduct both controlled research and field investigation, transforming discoveries into documented findings, operational guidance, and actionable intelligence. When an encounter falls beyond established scientific understanding, Helix Division is tasked with determining what it is, how it behaves, and what danger it may represent.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Scientific examination of recovered materials, biological samples, artifacts, and environmental data.
  • Xenological observation and field study of unfamiliar or previously undocumented lifeforms.
  • Investigation and classification of anomalous signals, structures, energies, and physical phenomena.
  • Assessment of biological, technological, environmental, and xenological threats.
  • Development of containment procedures, research protocols, and operational recommendations.
  • Preservation, cataloging, and analysis of specimens and evidence recovered during field operations.
  • Coordination with Verdant Division during discoveries requiring specialized scientific study or anomaly investigation.

Helix Division Detachments

“Detachments are the operational arms of a division, formed to carry out its mission through assigned units, duties, and field deployments.”

Juliett Detachment

The first designated operational detachment assigned to Helix Division. Its complete mission profile, internal structure, assigned research personnel, and field responsibilities have not yet been entered into the archives.

Detachment records coming soon.
