Division Overview
Linehaul Division serves as the primary procurement, contracting, transportation, and distribution division of the Logistics & Development Sector.
Its personnel are responsible for acquiring equipment and supplies, arranging organizational contracts, managing cargo movement, and ensuring that resources reach the vessels, facilities, and personnel that require them.
Linehaul teams maintain the logistical connections between acquisition, storage, transportation, and final delivery. From routine resupply to mission-critical cargo runs, the division keeps organizational operations provisioned and moving throughout the ‘verse.
Operational Responsibilities
- Procurement of equipment, supplies, replacement components, and mission-critical resources.
- Negotiation, acceptance, and management of commercial and operational contracts.
- Transportation and distribution of cargo between suppliers, storage facilities, vessels, and active deployment zones.
- Coordination of routine resupply, emergency deliveries, and long-distance freight operations.
- Inventory tracking, cargo accountability, and allocation of organizational supplies.
- Establishment and maintenance of reliable supply routes and distribution networks.
- Coordination with Bastion, Dredge, and Hardline Divisions for the movement of construction materials, reclaimed resources, repair components, and industrial equipment.
